DANVILLE - James "Jim" Wood, 82, of Danville went to be with his Lord and savior Wednesday (Feb. 12, 2025) at 5:54 a.m.Jim was born on Oct. 1, 1942, in Richmond, Ind., the son of Robert and Irene (Rust) Wood. He married Debra Powell on Nov. 19, 1982, in Danville, and she survives.Survivors include his wife, Debra Wood of Danville; children, Lisa (Jamie) Mohler of Frankfort, Ind., Rob (Jennifer) Wood of Frankfort, Ind., and Pete (Kristi) Powell of Danville; nine grandchildren, Meisha (Grayson) Puckett, Isaac (Katie) Wood, Christian (Alli) Mohler, Kiara Wood, Trey and Ari Mohler, Doug Wood, Conner Powell and Brielle Powell; and three great-grandchildren, Grayson Puckett Jr., Shae Mohler and Da'Ziyah Mohler, with two more on the way. Jim is also survived by his siblings John Wood of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Dawn (Ray) Spivey of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; as well as several nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and -nephews.Jim was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Tiffany Wood;
