DANVILLE - Sarah Suzonne Hall-Smith, 84, of Danville went home to be with our Lord and savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, June 12, 2024.She was born on March 20, 1940, to Edwina Sarah Fly Street and Tyree Quincy Davis. Sarah graduated from New College in San Fransisco with a B.A. degree and later earned a master's degree from Merritt College of Oakland, Calif. She practiced pediatric nursing for 20-plus years and was a licensed day care provider for many children. Later, she applied her entrepreneurial talents to owning and expanding a successful barber shop. She was a member of Allen Temple Church in Oakland. She was happy at community work in her neighborhood, providing food, clothes and shelter to people recovering from drugs and alcohol. She was proud of being in recovery for 40-plus years.Visitation will be on June 26 from 5 to 7 p.m., followed by a service on June 27 at 10 a.m., at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 3940 N.
