CHAMPAIGN - Jean Marie Glass, 87, of Champaign passed away Wednesday (June 19, 2024) in Paxton. Jean was born on July 15, 1936, in Pacific, Mo.She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Katherine Means (McElhaney); six brothers and sisters, George, Joseph, Annina, Weese, Harold and James; and her husband, Ronald Glass.She is survived by her daughters, Kim (Lewis) O'Brien and Lori (Thomas) Hendricks; son, Christopher (Debra) Miller; grandchildren, Laura, Steven, Andrew, Jessica, Elise and Audrey; and great-grandchildren, Andrew, Sophia, Jackson and Saint. And, she was a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews.As a youngster in Hoopeston, she was a cheerleader at Honeywell Grade School, detasseled corn in high school and worked at Murphy's Five & Ten Cent store. As an adult, she worked as a dental assistant to Dr. Hardy, as a secretary for John Greer Junior High and as a secretary at the FMC Corporation.
